Acceptable Use Policy
This policy governs how you may use the pomela service. It works alongside the Responsible Use Policy, which governs what you may build. Both are part of the Terms of Service.
1 · Permitted use
You may use pomela to design, generate, refine, install, and share applications for yourself, your business, or your clients, within your plan’s limits and the rules below. You keep ownership of the apps you create and may export them at any time.
2 · Fair use & resource limits
pomela runs on shared, metered infrastructure. To keep it fast and available for everyone:
- Stay within your plan’s build and interaction allowance. Free and Pro plans have generous but finite pools; sustained automated bulk generation beyond them is not permitted without prior arrangement.
- Do not deliberately overload, flood, or degrade the service (excessive concurrent requests, generation loops, or scripted abuse of rate‑limited endpoints).
- Do not circumvent quotas, credit accounting, rate limits, the launch gate, or any usage control, including by creating multiple accounts to evade limits.
- AI features (chat, image generation) are owner‑charged per use; do not engineer an app to drain another creator’s credits.
3 · Security & integrity
You must not:
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any pomela system without our written permission, or breach or circumvent authentication, isolation (per‑user RLS), or access controls.
- Access, tamper with, or attempt to read another user’s account, apps, data, uploads, or end‑users’ data.
- Reverse‑engineer, decompile, or extract source for non‑exported parts of the platform, or attempt to extract another creator’s server‑side secrets (such as a BYOK key).
- Introduce malware, run unauthorized crypto‑mining, or use the service to attack others’ systems.
- Misrepresent the origin of requests, spoof identifiers, or interfere with other users’ use of the service.
4 · Automation, scraping & API use
Automated access must respect rate limits and these rules. Do not scrape pomela, the community gallery, or other users’ apps; do not republish an unmodified app you cloned from the community as your own; and do not use the service to build a competing generation service by harvesting its outputs.
5 · Content you build
What you may and may not build, prohibited content, sensitive‑data rules, and the enforcement ladder, is covered by the Responsible Use Policy. Read it: it is enforced by the platform Kill Switch and the in‑app Report control.
6 · Enforcement
Breaking this policy can lead to rate‑limiting, suspension, or termination of your account and apps, in line with the enforcement ladder in the Responsible Use Policy. We aim to be proportionate and to give notice where we safely can. Report a concern: [email protected]; appeal an action: [email protected].
